ALGIERS- The strengthening of economic cooperation between Algeria and Turkey, which in recent years has recorded a particular dynamic, with the completion of numerous partnership projects and the increase in the level of trade, will be on the menu, Sunday in Algiers, a business forum jointly chaired by Prime Minister Abdelaziz Djerad and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.The two countries will have the opportunity, thanks to this forum, which will be held on the sidelines of the Turkish president's official visit to Algeria, to identify ways and means to further develop their economic cooperation with a view to raise it to the level of excellence in their political relations and friendship.
The forum, expected in the afternoon, will bring together heads of economic institutions, business leaders and businessmen from the two countries to give new impetus to economic partnership, particularly in the fields of industry. , tourism, agriculture and renewable energy.
Under numerous agreements relating to the realization of projects in the industrial (textile, steel, etc.), energy, maritime transport and construction sectors, Algerian-Turkish cooperation is constantly diversifying and developing, making Turkey the first foreign investor excluding hydrocarbons in Algeria.
