Another huge explosion rang out in Kabul on Thursday, after a double suicide attack that killed 12 US soldiers and a number of Afghans at the capital's airport, Agence France-Presse said.
It was not immediately clear the nature of the explosion, which comes just hours after the Kabul airport attack, which was claimed by ISIS.
General Kenneth McKenzie, commander of the US Central Command, vowed to respond to the attack on Kabul Airport, which killed 12 US soldiers, and was carried out by Natharian.
"We are working very hard to determine who is responsible and who is associated with this cowardly attack, and we are ready to act against it," McKenzie said.
He added that US forces are "ready and ready to confront" any further attacks by the Islamic State.
