Why is George Clooney opposed to publishing pictures of his two children from the Lebanese woman, Amal Alamuddin?

The star, George Clooney, announced that he did not want to publish pictures of his twins from the Lebanese-born lawyer Amal Alamuddin, and he contacted various media outlets asking them to stop publishing any details about his children, so what is the relationship of his wife's work to the matter?

American actor George Clooney publicly asked the media to refrain from publishing pictures of his twins in order to avoid endangering them. It may make them vulnerable to dangerous people and may make their children a target for these.

"My wife's work causes her to confront and prosecute terrorist organizations and we are taking all possible precautions to keep our family safe," George Clooney wrote in an open letter to Variety and other specialist publications. "We cannot protect our two children if any media puts their faces on the front page," he added.

The American star indicated that he sent this message to the newspaper "Daily Mail" and other media, pointing out that this idea came to him after he saw on the Internet pictures of the only one-year-old son of actress Billy Lord.

"I am a public figure and accept images that are often intrusive as part of the price I have to pay in my profession," Clooney said, but "this does not apply to my children."

He added that they have never sold a picture of their two children, have no presence on social networks, and do not publish pictures at all, because this would threaten the lives of the twin children born in 2017.

The American actor had previously accused the Daily Mail, the most famous name in the British yellow press, of fabricating an article claiming that his mother-in-law, the mother of his Lebanese-born wife, Amal Alamuddin, was opposing their marriage in 2014, and the newspaper submitted an apology at that time, which Clooney did not accept.
