Brent achieves important gains this week



Oil prices rose during trading on Friday, but US crude trimmed the gains it recorded earlier in the day, while Brent maintained its rise.

 

And officials of the Republican and Democratic parties announced the resumption of talks related to the second fiscal stimulus package to counter the repercussions of Corona.

 

However, US Treasury Secretary "Stephen Mnuchin" revealed in a decision today to stop financing and support programs for small and medium enterprises.

 

Baker Hughes, the oil services company, will announce today the number of drilling rigs for oil and natural gas in the United States for this week.

 

On the other hand, the dollar index rose (against a basket of major currencies) by 17:46 GMT by 0.1% to 92.4 points, and the highest level was recorded at 92.4 points and the lowest level at 92.2 points.

 

In terms of trading, US Nymex crude futures for December delivery rose 0.1% to $ 41.7 a barrel, recording the highest price at $ 42.1 and the lowest price at $ 41.5.

 

Brent crude futures for January delivery rose 0.7% to $ 44.5 a barrel, and recorded the highest price at $ 44.7 and the lowest price at $ 44.05.
