25 billion dirhams, the value of projects that will bring together the public and private sectors in Dubai
Today, Sunday, the Dubai government revealed a diversified portfolio of joint projects that it will establish between the public and private sectors, with a value of 25 billion dirhams (6.81 billion dollars).
The Dubai government indicated, in a tweet on Twitter, that the investments announced during a public-private partnership conference held in Dubai, at the regional tourism and business center, include seven urban development projects worth 22.58 billion dirhams ($ 6.1 billion).
It also includes 14 road and transport projects worth 2.39 billion dirhams ($650 million) and eight health and safety projects worth 526 million dirhams ($143 million).
The Dubai International Conference on Partnership between the Public and Private Sectors, organized by the Department of Finance in the Government of Dubai, kicked off today at the Dubai Exhibition Center at Expo 2020 Dubai, and will continue until October 11.
The Dubai government explained that the Dubai International Conference on Partnership between the Public and Private Sectors is the first conference hosted by the government in the field of public-private partnership, and the first of its kind in the Middle East and North Africa.
She pointed out that the conference will be attended by elite decision-makers, officials in ministries, government agencies, banks, local and international companies working in the fields of investment, contracting, consultancy and infrastructure development, and stakeholders from various key sectors.
