It took only seven months for Lana Del Rey to unveil a new project, which follows “Chemtrails Over The Country Club”. With "Blue Banisters", the singer thus offers herself the eighth opus of her career.
Lana Del Rey fans will surely be delighted to discover that she has concocted an album of fifteen original tracks for them. And to achieve them, she surrounded herself with the best since we find several big names in production, such as Rick Nowels on the track "Cherry Blossom", who has already collaborated with Madonna and Dido, or Mike Dean on " Wildflower Wildfire, known for being one of the pioneers of the Dirty South rap movement in the Southern United States in the 1990s, and for having worked notably with The Weeknd and Kanye West.
Barrie James O’Neil is also back, having previously worked with Lana Del Rey on her old album "Ultraviolence". This time, he took part in the new titles "Nectar of the Gods", "Leaving Legend" and "Cherry Blossom".
Concocted during confinement, with "Blue Banisters", Lana Del Rey confides in her private and sentimental life. She continues to explore the depths of vaporous melodies, without forgetting that sweet melancholy that never leaves her, as on the track "Arcadia".
This one, which is partly composed by the singer, also includes Drew Erickson, who is hiding behind some productions of The Killers and Florence + The Machine.
To accompany this beautiful project, the 36-year-old singer offers her audience an exclusive clip of the title "Blue Banisters" which was released last May. This is the second music video from this new album, the first being none other than "Arcadia".
