Future worries for Tesla? The brand of electric cars, which have autonomous driving software, is under investigation by a US federal agency after an accident.
It all comes after a crash of a user who was testing autonomous driving on the highway. “The car went into the wrong lane and I was hit by another driver,” explains the person who made the complaint. She claims to have tried to regain control to avoid this maneuver, but explains that the car forced the change of trajectory.
As the Associated Press reported on November 13, the federal National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) approached Tesla to try to understand the events. Note that there were no injuries in the accident.

This is not the first time that the American company has been targeted by this agency. After a series of accidents, a formal investigation had already been launched in August. Last October, NHTSA even asked Tesla to recall vehicles that used the software to prevent further crashes. The brand headed by Elon Musk did not react to the controversy.
