The activities of the 17th edition of the "Dubai Airshow 2021", the largest and first air show in the world since the emergence of the Corona virus pandemic, will start in the Emirate of Dubai, tomorrow, Sunday.
The current session is an integrated platform to review the latest technologies used in the sector, and organize a group of discussion sessions to discuss topics related to fifth generation technologies, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and blockchain technology, which contribute to increasing the sector’s revenues by about $40 billion, according to a study issued by PwC Corporation.
According to Tarsus Middle East, the organizer of the exhibition, expectations indicate the participation of more than 1,200 exhibitors from 148 countries.
The official civil and military delegations represent 140 countries, in addition to the participation of 160 aircraft in the fixed display area, with expectations that about 80,000 visitors will attend the exhibition.
Dubai Air 2021 announced its readiness to host more than 370 new exhibiting companies in this year's session, in addition to the major companies specialized in the aviation, aerospace and defense sectors, which participated in previous editions with the exhibition.
The exhibition will also witness the participation of companies from a wide range of countries, including Belgium, Ukraine, Greece, Switzerland, Brazil, the Czech Republic, Canada, the Russian Federation, the United Kingdom, the United States and Israel.
According to the data of the organizer, the exhibition has recorded large and continuous growth rates in the number of exhibitors and visitors, as well as deals and participating parties since its inception, while the space allocated to the exhibition has increased more than 92 times.
