Two killed in church shooting in Texas

At least two people were killed and a third was seriously wounded after a church was fired at on the outskirts of Fort Worth, local media reported Sunday.

One person was killed at the scene and the other died while being taken to the hospital, the Dallas Morning News reported, citing a local emergency service spokeswoman.

Local media reported that the incident occurred at the West Freedom of Christ Church in the White Stones Township.

A local television witness reported that a gunman opened fire on a group of attendees before being shot.

The CBS11 reported that authorities believe the attacker was one of the three shot but have not yet confirmed whether he was killed or injured.
