More than 53 thousand visitors on the first day of "Expo Dubai"

 During the daily media briefing, "Expo 2020 Dubai" revealed that the number of visitors to the exhibition on its first day amounted to more than 53,000 visitors of different ages and nationalities.

The media office said in a briefing held today, Saturday: "The first day of the launch of the global event, in which 192 countries participated, along with a large number of international institutions, bodies and organizations, witnessed the organization of many entertainment, artistic and cultural events, which contributed to attracting visitors." from different parts of the Emirates, as well as visitors from abroad.

He added that the number of visitors on the first day amounted to more than 53,000 visitors of different ages and nationalities, noting that more than 2,000 "PCR" tests were conducted at the site of the international event for visitors who did not submit certificates of vaccination against the Corona virus.

He stressed that "there is no change in the policy of precautionary measures at the exhibition site, which is to present vaccination certificates or BCR tests."

The work of Expo 2020 Dubai started yesterday, Friday, under the slogan “Connecting Minds and Creating the Future”, and will continue until March 31, 2022, with a focus on 3 main axes: “Sustainability, Mobility and Opportunities”, with a large-scale international participation, which is the first of its kind from In terms of size in the ancient history of the Expo, which extends to 170 years.

The exhibition constitutes a new platform for the world to overcome the challenges brought by the pandemic, and looks forward to a more ambitious future with advanced technical solutions, while the event represents a window for cultural and civilizational communication between the peoples of the world.
