The unfortunate accident of a man who killed 3 women in Virginia

 Police said that a shooting incident occurred in Virginia, killing 3 women and wounding two, while an investigation is still underway to find out more motives for the incident.


And according to what was published by “People” magazine; On Wednesday, officials from the Norfolk Police Department responded to reports of a shooting at the 800 block of Whitaker Street shortly after 6 p.m., according to a press release.



 

When the officers arrived, the suspect - identified by the police as Zionte Palmer, 19 years old - had fled the scene.


Police said in a press release that three women, 42-year-old Detra R. Brown, 45-year-old Nicole Levoine, and Sarah E. Costin, aged 44, was pronounced dead at the scene, and two women, aged 39 and 19 respectively, were taken to Norfolk General Hospital with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. Both women are expected to recover. .


According to the Norfolk Police Department, the shooting was related to a dispute in my home and Palmer was taken into custody around 10:25 p.m.


Palmer was charged with three counts of second-degree murder, two counts of injuring others, and five counts of using a firearm, and police said he is now being held unsupported in the Norfolk County Jail.


After the incident, Police Chief Larry Boone, who was clearly emotional, called Palmer a "coward" in an interview with WAVY, and added: "The suspect shot one of the victims and while the community was trying to help, the coward shot them."


Boone added, “This has to stop, we need to start talking because I have never seen this in my 30 year career; Five women were shot.” ​​He continued, “This nonsense must stop and this idea that everyone can be saved,” according to “NBC.”


Montezuma Pride, a cousin of one of the victims, said she was a mother, describing her as a "strong and kind woman, who never bothered anyone." This has to stop.”
